Historical Ties to Protestant and Catholic Rights and Anglophone and Francophone rights.
In history, many Protestant traditions and rituals such as infant baptism, Christmas, Easter, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Order, Anointing of the Sick or even staining the glass of windows all originated among catholics. In many of the Protestant traditions, many of the religious beliefs still make up the fundamentals of faith who were originally Catholic creeds. Anglophone and Francophone have many collective rights in Canada. One example of collective rights is education. For a Anglophone they can get education in English in a Francophone majority province (Ex. Québec). For a Francophone they can get education in French in a Anglophone-majority province (Ex. Alberta). Anglophone and Francophone people have the right to speak in a community whether it is an Anglophone-majority or a Francophone-majority. It does not matter! Anglophones and Francophones are a great part of this nation that are just as equal as everyone else.
